busy!

Alright the last 2 weeks have been pretty busy with midterms, the parents visiting, and now a 20 page paper. Midterms went well for the most part and the parents coming was great. 20 page paper is a little tedious, but I'll get through it.

My parents brought me all sort of goodies from the states. DVDs, killer brownies, chocolates, ear plugs, everything that an American living in Cairo could possibly want.

Soon I'll post pictures from all the traveling and touristing that we did.

Al-Azhar
Catacombs
..and hundreds of dirty streets in Cairo

the best/worst/most memorable part was probably my parents riding horses with a "tour guide" around the "back entrance" of the pyramids while my eyes swelled shut because I'm allergic to horses at 6 am.
